“As TCL continues to drive into increasingly larger screen sizes with its advanced panel production facilities, the TCL team must ensure that we’re delivering world-class products with the performance levels that our users truly want in their family room”. TCL states that TVs that were 60″ and larger were nearly a quarter of all TVs sold in 2021. So there is a market for these larger TVs. And TCL wants to own it. TCL is also bringing out an 85″ XL TV. It’ll also be a QLED TV with OD Zero Mini-LED backlight technology. It’s called the X9 and will deliver brilliantly smooth luminance and precision contrast for dramatic image depth.
TCL is also bringing out a 144Hz TV
After Samsung announced on Sunday, the world’s first 144Hz 4K TV, TCL wasn’t far behind. Announcing its own 144Hz 4K TV today. It’ll be available across all of TCL’s more premium TV sets. Allowing users to get the best gaming experience possible on their TV. Previously, 144Hz was only available on monitors, which typically maxed out at 32 inches. Now you’ll be able to get 144Hz in much larger screen size. TCL is also continuing to push both Roku and Google TV on its TV sets this year. Adding even more Google TV options. So no matter the operating system that you prefer, TCL has a TV for you. TCL says that is currently “one of Google’s largest TV partners worldwide, selling more than 10 million sets annually featuring Google TV and Android TV.” Which given the number of options TCL has, that sounds pretty accurate.
