Dating back to May, Twitter officially unveiled the Circle, and since then, the feature has been available to only a small group of testers. Now, the company is rolling out the feature to more users globally. The feature allows for putting followers in specific circles and releasing tweets to them. Some users had noticed a pop-up to tweet to your Circle when they logged into their accounts. The pop-up drives you to the “Compose Tweet” panel. After tapping on the audience button, you can see a “Twitter Circle” option added below the “Everyone” option. The audience button is set on Everyone by default, but you can change that to Circle every time you want to share a tweet with your Circle of close friends. Clicking on the Edit buttons opens a page for you and allows for adding or removing people from your Circle.

Your followers won’t know you if you have removed them from the Circle. But those who are in your Circle will see the tweets with a green notice to let them know they’re seeing this tweet because they are in your Circle. If you’ve previously used Close Friends on Instagram, the Twitter Circle will seem familiar to you. The Circle is probably one of the best features added to Twitter in recent years because it allows users to share how they feel at the moment with only a specific group of followers and not all of them. Moreover, some users tend to create two accounts for business and personal stuff. With Twitter Circle, they can simply handle both business and personal stuff through one account. If you can’t see the feature on your Twitter yet, don’t worry. It should be available to all users in the coming days or weeks. Some regions naturally receive the new features sooner than others.
