That’s exactly what the leaks were pointing to. Which does put the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro as coming out a bit later than usual. Since Google usually holds its event the first week of the October. We don’t know when exactly the phones will be in customers hands, but leaks have pointed to October 28. Which means that they would be launching pretty quickly after the announcement. And pre-orders might even start that same day.
We already know almost everything about Pixel 6
Google showed us a lot about the Pixel 6 a few months ago, and has had a page on the Google Store ever since with a bunch of details. So we really know what to expect already, but Google may have a few tricks up its sleeves. This is the first really premium Pixel from Google, and the pricing is likely going to reflect that. We also know that Google is finally going to put in a new camera sensor in the Pixel this year, which has a lot of us excited. Google has been the leader in camera tech with the Pixel for a few years now, even with a nearly five-year old sensor. So it’s going to be amazing what Google can do with a newer, 64MP sensor. Not to mention the fact that it’ll be the first Pixel with Google’s own home-made chipset, the Tensor SoC inside. Additionally, these are set to be the biggest Pixels yet. And of course, that also comes with the biggest Pixel batteries yet. Which has a lot of us excited.
