The OPPO Find N2 specs look very promising, to say the least
Based on the information provided by Digital Chat Station, a well-known Chinese tipster, the OPPO Find N2 will feature a 7.1-inch main display. That will be an E6 display from Samsung, and it will offer a 120Hz refresh rate. We’re looking at a 1920 x 1792 resolution here. The outer display will measure 5.54 inches, and will offer a resolution of 2120 x 1080. That will also be an E6 panel from Samsung, and it will offer a 120Hz refresh rate. That will be a considerable improvement compared to the OPPO Find N, as the outer display offered a 60Hz refresh rate. That being said, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is expected to fuel this smartphone. That is one of the best chips Qualcomm released in years. It not only offers great performance, but has great power consumption as well. It’s still technically the most powerful chip in a phone on the market, as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 got announced recently. A 4,520mAh battery is also mentioned, and it’s slightly larger than a 4,500mAh unit in the OPPO Find N. This smartphone will also offer a 67W fast wired charging, it seems. Wireless charging won’t be supported.
It will have three cameras on the back, with Hasselblad’s backing
A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX890 sensor, OIS) will be used on the back. A 48-megapixel ultrawide camera (Sony’s IMX581 sensor, 114-degree FoV) will also be included, as will a 32-megapixel telephoto camera (Sony’s IMX709 sensor, 2x optical zoom). Hasselblad will be included in the picture, as will the MariSilicon X ISP. A 32-megapixel selfie camera will be included on both the main display, and the cover display. Another notable improvement compared to the original model comes down to thickness. The original was 15.9mm thick when folded, this one will be 14.6mm. It will be truly thin when unfolded.
It will be much lighter than the original
The original OPPO Find N handset was quite heavy. It weighed 275 grams, that’s heavier than the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Well, its successor will be much lighter at 233 / 237 grams. The variant with a vegan leather backplate will weigh 233 grams, while the glass back model will weigh 237 grams. So, the OPPO Find N2 will become the lighter book-style foldable in the market.
