OnePlus confirms the Nord CE 2 5G launch date, and shows the device’s design
This video basically confirmed that the leaked design was spot on. This phone will feature thin bezels, and a display camera hole in the top-left corner. Its display will be flat. The phone itself will likely be made out of metal and glass. The backplate will be curved towards the sides, while the device will include three cameras on the back. A single camera will sit on the front side of this smartphone. That being said, the phone’s specs have surfaced yet again, in quite a few details. These specs have been shared by Yogesh Brar. On top of that, the phone’s price tag also surfaced, courtesy of Abhishek Yadav. Now, in regards to specs, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is said to feature a 6.43-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display. That will be a 90Hz panel, by the way. The MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC will fuel the phone.
Both 6GB and 8GB RAM models are coming
The device will launch in 6GB and 8GB RAM (LPDDR4X) variants. Both of those models will offer 128GB of internal storage (UFS 2.2). A 4,500mAh battery will also be included in the package, and the phone will support 65W charging. Android 11 will come pre-installed, it seems, which is a bit surprising. OxygenOS 11.3 is said to come on top of Google’s OS. An optical in-display fingerprint scanner will also be a part of the package. Now, in regards to cameras. On the back, you’ll get a 64-megapixel main camera, in addition to an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro unit. A single 16-megapixel camera will sit on the front side. The device is said to launch in Blue and Black color options. The two variants of the phone will allegedly cost INR23,999 ($320) and INR24,999 ($333), respectively.
