The OnePlus 10 Pro confirmed to launch in January, but maybe not globally
This confirmation comes from Pete Lau’s official Weibo account, in other words, it’s a confirmation for China only. One of the earlier rumors suggested that the device may launch in China in January, but that the global launch may follow in March or April. That information could turn out to be true. Why? Well, OnePlus would confirm the launch date from one of its global social media channels, or Pete Lau would do it that way. This confirmation from a Chinese social media channel is worrying. If the device does launch in China, however, we will know basically everything we need to know about it from the hardware standpoint. The software will be a bit different on the global side of things, of course. Some reports are saying this launch may happen on January 5, but Pete Lau hasn’t confirmed the date just yet. The OnePlus 10 was not mentioned yet again, which may confirm a recent rumor.
The OnePlus 10 hasn’t leaked yet, at all
The OnePlus 10 hasn’t leaked at all yet, which is a bit worrying. In situations like these, both phones leak at one point or another, but the OnePlus 10 hasn’t appeared at all. Could the ‘Pro’ model be the only one that is coming in the near future? We’ll see. The OnePlus 10 Pro did leak several times thus far. We know what to expect out of it, when it comes to its design, while the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC has been confirmed to fuel the phone. The device will be made out of metal and glass, and will include a curved display. A display camera hole will also be included, and placed in the top-left corner. OnePlus seemingly borrowed Samsung’s rear camera housing design, as it will protrude from the phone’s frame. Hasselblad will once again be a part of the picture, and this time around it’ll probably have a much bigger influence on the company’s cameras.
