The Nothing Phone (1) specs have just surfaced, and there are no major surprises
According to the tipster, the Nothing Phone (1) will feature a 120Hz display, as suggested by the company in a promo video. The Snapdragon 778G+ SoC will fuel the device. That is also not surprising, as the phone got benchmarked with that SoC recently. So, it seems like the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 won’t be a part of the picture. The device will pack in 8GB of RAM, and a 4,500mAh battery. The device will support 45W wired charging, the tipster says. That is probably accurate, as a 45W Nothing charger already got certified. Previous rumors hinted at 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging.
A 50-megapixel main camera may be included
Now, the tipster claims that a 50-megapixel main camera will be included on the device. That is contrary to previous reports that a 64-megapixel main camera will be used. A 16-megapixel secondary camera will also be included, it seems. That will likely be an ultrawide camera. The tipster also mentioned a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and Android 12 with Nothing OS. That is all the shared information up to this point, and chances are at least most of it is accurate. As per usual when it comes to leaks, take this info with a grain of salt. If you’re wondering how larger will the phone’s display will be, previous reports suggested a 6.55-inch panel will be used. We’re not sure about that, yet, but you can expect an AMOLED display.
The phone will fully launch on July 12
The Nothing Phone (1) hype has been through the roof lately, and you can already join the waitlist to buy the phone. Yes, Nothing brought back the invite system.
