Both the Galaxy Z Fold 4 & Flip 4 surfaced in real-life images
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is shown in a blue-gray color variant, while the Galaxy Z Flip 4’s color is… well, light blue. These images basically confirm the designs of both smartphones. So, what did we notice in these images? Well, in the case of the Galaxy Z Fold 4, something that is immediately noticeable, is the hinge area. It looks way smaller, and the phone also looks wider in the hand, as expected. The Galaxy Z Flip 4, on the other hand, looks considerably more similar to its predecessor. The metal parts around the hinge do seem to be a bit slimmer, and the phone’s design a bit flatter. The edges are not as curved. Now, what goes for both phones is that the crease seems to be a bit less prominent. We’ll have to wait and see, but both phones are rumored to offer a less prominent crease, so that change was also expected.
The devices will become official on August 10
Both of these smartphones will become official on August 10. That’s when the company will host its second Unpacked event of the year. Those two phones are not the only devices that will launch, though. The Galaxy Watch 5 series smartwatches are also expected, and the same goes for the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 will definitely steal the spotlight, though. Samsung is betting big on foldables these days, so much so that it decided to retire the Galaxy Note series. The company is expecting to sell quite a few foldables this year, and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 are expected to be the best-selling foldables from the company. These are also the only two foldables that Samsung plans to release this year, allegedly. Sales from other foldables will be counted in too, of course, even the ones that got announced prior to 2022.
