The Galaxy S22 series charging info has been shared prior to the event
Roland Quandt shared the news, without actually sharing the aforementioned marketing materials. Still, he published what was said in those materials. The Galaxy S22 will support 25W wired charging. Its siblings, on the other hand, will offer faster charging. The Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra are both said to offer 45W wired charging. The tipster didn’t mention anything about a charger, but knowing Samsung’s practice lately, all three phones will ship without a charging brick. All three phones will also support wireless charging, almost certainly. The tipster didn’t share any info regarding that, but Samsung will most likely keep 15W wireless charging support. That is what the Galaxy S21 series offered. All three Galaxy S22 smartphones have been leaking for a long, long time now. At this point, there’s really not much for Samsung to hide. All the major info surfaced already.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra will be considerably different than its siblings
The Galaxy S22 and S22+ will be quite similar. They’ll essentially look the same, but the Galaxy S22+ will be considerably larger. The Galaxy S22 Ultra will be the model that will stand out. How? Well, it will bring a completely different design to the table. While the first two phones will resemble the Galaxy S21 series quite a bit, the ‘Ultra’ variant will resemble the Galaxy Note 20 series much more. It will have a flat top and bottom sides, and a more curvy design on the sides. It will also ship with a curved display, and a different-looking rear camera setup. On top of all that, the phone will ship with an S Pen stylus, which will be docked inside it. As a side note, the Galaxy Tab S8 series will also launch later today. Three of Samsung’s high-end tablets will arrive alongside the Galaxy S22 series.
