Now, the previous setup was suggested by Steve H.McFly. Do note that the spec sheet he shared arrived a couple of months ago, and he thought it was for the OnePlus 10. He recently said that it’s possible this is the OnePlus 10T 5G setup after all, as the OnePlus 10 doesn’t seem to be coming at all.
The OnePlus 10T 5G may have a different camera setup than we initially thought
In that spec sheet, It is said that the phone will feature a 50-megapixel main camera, a 16-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera on the back. In addition to that, a 32-megapixel front-facing camera was mentioned. Well, Digital Chat Station, a different tipster, has different info. He says that the phone will feature a 50-megapixel main camera (1/1.5” sensor), in addition to 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras on the back. We’re pretty sure that an 8-megapixel unit will be an ultrawide camera. He also noted that a 16-megapixel camera will sit on the front, which is also conflicting with previous info. The last piece of detail he shared has to do with the processor, as he corroborated that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will fuel the device.
This will be the only remaining high-end smartphone OnePlus will release in 2022
Now, the OnePlus 10T 5G seems to be the only high-end smartphone OnePlus is planning to release by the end of 2022, following the OnePlus 10 Pro. The OnePlus 10 and 10 Ultra were tipped, but it seems like OnePlus opted to release only one phone, under the ‘T’ series. Well, at least according to Max Jambor. By the looks of it, the OnePlus 10T 5G will be more affordable than the OnePlus 10 Pro. It will cut some corners, but also offer a better SoC. It will be one of those flagship-grade smartphones that are trying to fly as low as possible in terms of price. We’re still not sure when exactly will this phone launch, though. All we know is that it’s coming by the end of 2022. The phone’s design also surfaced quite recently.
