Detailed Vivo X80 Pro specifications show an immensely powerful smartphones
The spec information comes from Yogesh Brar, a well-known tipster. He shared the info via Twitter. The Vivo X80 Pro may end up being the most powerful X80 series device that Vivo will launch, at least based on these specs, we’ll see. Many people are expecting to see the Vivo X80, X80 Pro, and X80 Pro+, based on Vivo’s previous lineups. The Vivo X80 Pro+ may still happen, but only the X80 and X80 Pro have been leaking. According to the tipster, the Vivo X80 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display. This will be an LTPO display with an adaptive refresh rate, and it will be curved. It will also have a 120Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC will fuel the phone. That is MediaTek’s flagship SoC, and it’s immensely powerful. The device will arrive in both 8GB and 12GB RAM variants, with 128GB and 256GB of storage.
The phone will support 80W charging, and include ZEISS optics
A 4,700mAh battery was mentioned by the tipster, while the phone will support 80W wired charging. Chances are that 50W wireless charging will also be supported, but that wasn’t mentioned. On the flip side, that feature may be reserved for the Pro+ model, we’ll see. The device will also include an under-display fingerprint scanner. Unlike its predecessors, though, this phone will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, not an optical one. A 50-megapixel main camera (Samsung’s ISOCELL GNV sensor) will be backed by a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera. Two additional telephoto cameras will sit on the back, a 12-megapixel one (2x optical zoom), and an 8-megapixel one (5x optical zoom). A single 44-megapixel camera will sit on the front. Do note that ZEISS optics will be included in the package, and the same goes for Vivo’s self-developed V1+ imaging chip. The Vivo X70 Pro+ is still one of the best camera smartphones around, so it will be interesting to see how will the X80 series flagships compare. The Vivo X80 Pro will ship with Android 12 out of the box, with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 12 on top of it.
