This could mean this spec sheet is not accurate, that the company plans to reveal two different variants of the phone, or that more than one flagship is coming. The second scenario is highly unlikely, so it’s either the first or the third one. The OPPO Find X3 Pro launched back in March this year. Its successor is expected to arrive in Q1 next year. So, either OPPO plans to launch this phone really soon, or was suggesting some other phone will include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. We’ll have to wait and see.
The OPPO Find X4 Pro will include truly powerful specs
While we wait for the company to clear things up, the OPPO Find X4 Pro specs surfaced. This spec sheet comes from a Chinese tipster referred to as “Arsenal”, as he shared them via Weibo. The specs have been relayed by “Tech Agent” on Twitter. The OPPO Find X4 Pro is expected to include the MediaTek Dimensity 9000, not the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, according to this info. The Dimensity 9000 is MediaTek’s new flagship SoC, and it’s quite powerful. The device will feature a 6.78-inch QHD AMOLED display, this will be a 120Hz LTPO panel, and the bezels will be extremely thin. That display will likely be curved as well, and it will be protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus. OPPO plans to use LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage inside this phone, as expected. Now, even some camera information surfaced as part of this leak.
Two 50-megapixel cameras will be included on the back, in addition to a 13-megapixel unit
The OPPO Find X4 Pro is said to include a 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX766 sensor, OIS), along with a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 13-megapixel telephoto unit. A single 32-megapixel camera will sit on the front. The phone’s ultrawide camera will likely serve as a macro snapper as well. That’s basically all the information that surfaced. So, it remains to be seen how accurate this information is. It’s even possible that OPPO will utilize the Dimensity 9000 in China, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the global variant, but that’s not something we’re used to when it comes to OPPO. So, we’ll see. Do note that the company also plans to announce a foldable smartphone in December, allegedly.
