Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) and Moto G 5G (2022) specs
Motorola announced the Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) and Moto G 5G (2022) in April. The former is better-specced between the two. It features a 6.8-inch Max Vision IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2460 pixels). As the name suggests, it supports the stylus pen for a seamless navigation and editing experience. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 5G processor, the phone comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also features a dedicated micro SD card slot for expandable storage. The Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) has a plastic body with a water-repellent design. For photography, we have a 50-megapixel primary camera with PDAF (phase detection autofocus) and OIS (optical image stabilization). It is flanked by an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There’s a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies. Other highlights include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 5000 mAh battery, USB Type-C 2.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and NFC. The Moto G 5G (2022), on the other hand, downgrades to a smaller 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 SoC powers this phone with up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It has a microSD card slot too. The primary camera is still a 50-megapixel sensor but it lacks OIS. There are two 2-megapixel cameras for depth sensing and macro photography. The selfie camera is a 13-megapixels sensor. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5000 mAh battery, USB Type-C 2.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack can be found on this phone too but there’s no NFC.
