The game should already be live on the Australian Play Store for those in the region who wish to download it. It’s a hefty game, as you might expect, coming in at just over 5.4GB. But that shouldn’t be an issue for most devices these days. Especially if you have a gaming phone that likely has plenty of storage space. If you’re planning on dropping into the game today, then you’re in luck because you don’t have much of a wait to dive into the action.
The Call Of Duty: Warzone Mobile release in Australia is followed by a 5PM launch
Australia players who haven’t already installed the game may want to get to it as soon as they can. Because the servers are already live. According to leaks from November 29, the game was set to go live on November 30 at 17:00 UTC. Which is 5PM for those in Australia. That’s 9AM here on the West coast of the US. And that means servers should already be up and running. The game is also set to go live for players in India today. However the timing will be a bit different. 91mobiles states that servers are supposed to go live in India around 10:30PM. So there’s unfortunately about five more hours to wait. For players in the US, the game is still not available to install. You can however already pre-register for the game and as of September 28, it’s reached over 15 million pre-registrations. Which means there’s even more now and that leads to tons of rewards for players after the game releases in each region. That being said, you could try to install the game using a VPN. But you’ll need an Australian Gmail to pull up the Play Store in that country. And even if you do get past that point (which isn’t hard to do), there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to play. We’ve been sitting on the “status – logging in to Activision account” screen for quite a few minutes now. This could just be a server thing or it could be because we’re not actually located in Australia. Either way, the game is available to a couple of select regions today, which means a launch elsewhere probably isn’t too far off.
